Been there, done that and he got the t-shirt

I was to write a long piece about this mountain. This legendary peak, but you know… I don’t feel like it, so all I do is recognize the facts that I did it. Been there, done that and I didn’t get the t-shirt, but he has the jersey and I’m looking at it admiringly. Don’t be surprised if something similar ends up in my wardrobe sooner or later.

    but we all know that the maximum gradient is far more than 10%! i recorded 17% this summer if I recall correctly. that in itself is worth a bloody t-shirt...

    Oh yes, I remember. I remember you chit chatting along the road with a camera in your hand, saying "Mais oui", now and then. I remember me breathing heavily desperately trying to find another gear - in vain.
